Lawrence “Rusty” Bryant, 84, of Saranac passed away Friday, June 28, 2002 at 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital.  He was born May 30, 1918 in Alto, the son of 
Vern and Belva (Hood) Bryant.  He was a World War II veteran, a member of 
Lowell Moose Lodge and a member of Alto American Legion.

He is survived by his son, Larry (Laurie) Bryant of North Carolina; daughters, 
Nancy (Herbert) of Florida, Judy Hoffman of Florida and Patty Monzione of 
Florida; and one sister, Helen Kuiper of Lowell.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Bowne Center Cemetery in 
Alto with Beth Burns and Tammi Biggs officiating.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral 
Home of Saranac.
