The case was a peculiar one, and the decision is one of interest to railroad men. The insurance was not on the life of Robt. Bryant, but was for a weekly indemnity of $10 per week in case of disability from accident. A clause in the policy provided that for loss of a leg, the indemnity should be paid for thirty weeks only. Mr. Bryan died three weeks after the accident in which he lost a leg. There was some dispute as to the time for which the company was liable. Mr. Derthisk, the local agent, took the position that the company should pay for thirty weeks, and this was finally conceded by the company.
