Lake Odessa Wave, 21 Mar 1940

A heart attack caused the death of Ernest Buchanan, 51, editor and publisher of 
the Lyons Herald the last 30 years, March 5, at his home.

Buchanan had held various village and township offices and three years ago was 
Ionia county Democratic chairman.  Lately he had been an area timekeeper for the 
WPA.

Surviving is the widow, Ruby.
