Ionia County News - Thursday, May 23, 1935

Funeral services for Richard Buche, 73, who died at his home north of Lake 
Odessa Thursday afternoon following months of illness, were held at the home 
Sunday afternoon, with Rev. Leon T. Manning of Central Methodist Church 
officiating, and interment in the Saranac cemetery.

Mr. Buche, who was born in Berlin township, has always lived in the 
community. Sept. 15, 1915, he married Miss Deliah Setter, who survives him. 
He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Miller, of Wisconsin and three 
brothers, Albert, of Wamago, Kansas, and Fred and Herman of Orleans. 

Out of town persons attending the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Vern Stevens 
of Davidsburg, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stevens of Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Wiers 
and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Slowinski, of Ionia and Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Tanner, 
of Ionia.
