Jan. 10, 2019 PEGGY JO BUCHE, 64 Peggy Jo Buche, age 64, passed away in her home on January 6, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 28, 1954 in Lansing, Michigan to Gerald and Janet Gilbert (Sandborn). Peggy graduated from Lakewood High School in 1973 and was a life-long resident of Lake Odessa. Peggy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. But, her most cherished title was "grandmother". Peggy is survived by her husband, Steve; daughters Linsey Dykhouse (Darrell) and Jessie Buche (Mike); and grandsons, Charlie and Reid Dykhouse and Sage Buche-Gottliebsen. She is also survived by her father, Gerald (Judy); sisters, Karen Oesch (Ken), Nancy Cannon (Gordon), and Marilyn Goodemoot (Kyle); sister-in-law Jean Gray (Thom), Beth Ainsworth, and Amy O'Brien (Jimmy); brotehr-in-law John Buche (Janet) and Matt Buche (Deb); and numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Peggy was preceded in death by her mother Janet; sister-in- law, Suzie Buche; mother-and father-in-law Margaret and Pete Buche; and great-nephew, Joshua. Peggy enjoyed traveling to Mexico, Europe and throughout the U.S., and took her family to Disney World in her final weeks. She loved spending weekends in Silver Lake with her family and watching her daughters, grandsons, nephews, and nieces participate in athletic events. She humbly supported many causes within the Lake Odessa community and extended her generosity to anybody in need. Peggy dedicated 38 years to managing and growing Financial Technology, Inc. in East Lansing. A Celebration of Peggy's life will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Grand Ledge Opera House, Located at 121 South Bridge Street in Grand Ledge. Please join her family for a light lunch anytime between 11 a.m-3 p.m..
