Lake Odessa Wave Thurs. December 1, 1982

HORACE "PETE" BUCHE 
LAKE ODESSA-Horace Buche, 57, o route 2, Aisworth Road, Lake Odessa died Sunday 
near Escanaba while deer hunting.

He was born February 11, 1925 in Ionia, the son of Mr and Mrs Orvin Buche. He 
graduated from Lake Odessa High School in 1943, and served in the United States 
Army in World War II.

He married Margaret Valentine in 1946, lived and farmed in Lake Odessa all his 
life, and was a member of VFW.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret; three sons, Steve and Matt Buche, both of Lake 
Odessa and John of Saranac; three daughters, Mrs Jean Woltz of Rockford, Mrs 
Allen (Beth) Ainsworth of Sunfield and Miss  Amy Buche at home; two sisters, 
Mrs.Glenn (Joyce) Kime of Hastings, Mrs. Mary Ann Everett of Lansing; 8 
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa.

Burial at Lakeside cemetery.

Family will meet with friends Wednesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
