LIBBIE BUCHE AT SON'S HOME SUN. ------------ Mrs. Libbie Buche who has been suffering for the last several months from cancer died at the home of her son James Ketcham, Sunday. Mrs. Buche lived in the village here for many years and had many warm friends and acquaintances. She was congenial and friendly. She had been tenderly cared for by her son's family and everything done to relieve her suffering that was possible to do. The funeral was held at the M. E. church Tuesday conducted by Undertaker W F. Wortley. Rev. O. F. Bulman preached and Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Goodemoot and Mrs. Thos. Johnson furnished the music. ----------- OBITUARY Elizabeth Bagley was born in Boston, Mass., March 26, 1852, and died at the home her son James Ketchum in Barry county, April 3, 1927, at the age of 75 years and seven days. When a small girl she came to Michigan with her parents settling in Odessa township, Ionia county. She was united in marriage to Jerome Ketchum July 23, 1871. To this union were born two sons and two daughters, as follows; an infant son, Effie Stair, James Ketchum and Edith Rodgers. Mr. Ketchum died May 2, 1904. Later she married Charles Buche who died seven years ago. Of the family James is the only surviving child. Besides the son and his wife, she leaves 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild, a number of other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her departure. ------------- CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank the neighbors and friends for their sympathy, kindness and assistance at the time of the illness and burial of our dear mother, Mrs Libbie Buche.
