Herman J. Buche Passed Away

Herman J. Buche, 89, passed away Thursday night at the Ionia Manor, where he had
been a patient for several weeks.  He was born in Ionia county, the son of John
and Caroline (Hausserman) Buche.  He married Lottie Hummel on June 6, 1907 and
she passed away June 27, 1958.  A farmer for many years, he had lived all his
life in the local area and retired about 30 years ago.

Nieces and nephews are the only survivors.  Funeral services were held Monday at
1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel.  Rev. Vernon Beardsley officiated with
burial in Lakeside cemetery.
