Lottie Buche Died Friday

Mrs. Lottie Buche, 77, passed away Friday afternoon at Pennock hospital.  She
was admitted Thursday after a long period of ill health.  The daughter of John
and Katherine Hummel, she had spent most of her life in this area.  She married
Herman Buche on January 8, 1904 and they resided on their farm northwest of town
until retiring and moved to their home on north Fourth avenue in 1942.

Mrs. Buche attended the Methodist Church, was a member of the  Showerman group
of the church, Friendship club and Jolly Dozen.

Surviving besides her husband are a brother, Rolli Hummel of St. Joseph and a
niece, Mrs. Henrietta Smith of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Pickens funeral chapel with burial in
Lakeside cemetery.  Rev. Paul Robinson officiated.
