Sentinel Standard - 31 March 1970
William C. Buchholz, 75, of route 2, Belding died Monday at Butterworth hospital 
in Grand Rapids.  He was born March 15, 1895 in Douglas township, Montcalm 
county, son of Fred and Rachel Buchholz.  December 4, 1920 he was married in 
Montcalm county to Lena Ehlert, who survives.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church in Greenville, Farm Bureau and 
also served with the army in World War I.

Besides his wife, Lena, he leaves two daughters, Mrs William Hopkins and Mrs. 
Clifford Hopkins both of route 1, Belding; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. 
Martha Vierk of Sidney and Mrs. Elsie (unreadable) of Grand Rapids; one brother, 
Fred of Stanton.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at St Paul's Lutheran church in 
Greenville.  Pastor Walter Koettlin will officiate and interment will be at 
Green cemetery.

Family will be at Huffman funeral home in Belding Wednesday and Thursday from 2 
until 4 pm and 7 until 9 pm.
