Deceased was a native of Huntingtonshire, England, where she was born Nov. 19th 1830. She came to America from London in 1851, and settled at Avon, Ohio. Here she married Hart Buck and with him came to Portland in 1864, and settled on the farm where she died. Besides many friends among her neighbors she leaves children as follows: Bartley, Mary, George, Edwin and Ernest, and two step-daughters, Mrs. Edwin Flint, of East Canan, N. H., and Mrs. M.V. Terrill of Portland. She has four sisters residing on the island of Tasmania, off the south coast of Australia, and where her mother died a couple of years ago at the advanced age of 92 years. She was an Episcopalian in belief, but had made her church home with the Baptists for some years, and from which church the funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon and were largely attended, Rev.
