The Ionia Standard, Friday, September 12, 1890
Mrs. Ichabod Buck died on Saturday, aged 53 years; the immediate cause was 
nervous prostration.  Her husband and four children—Thomas R. and Philo of 
this city, Edward of Lansing, and Mrs. R. S. Woodford of Detroit, survive 
her.  Mrs. Buck was for many years an esteemed resident of Ionia, and the 
funeral on Monday morning was largely attended.
