The Ionia Daily Standard, Monday, February 7, 1916
The mortal remains of faithful Ichabod Buck were given their last earthly 
resting place in Highland Park cemetery on Saturday afternoon, the services 
being as early as possible, the services prescribed by the ritual of the Grand 
Army of the Republic, both at the home and at the graveside.  Rev. C. E. Hoag 
was the preacher, Mesdames Eugene Smith and Harry E. Spencer were the singers 
and the carriers were comrades of the G.A.R., George Corey, Myron Morse, Robt. 
Carpenter, George Pettingill, Lemuel Tingley and James Greenman, with James H. 
Laden as officer of the day.
