The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, September 13, 1956


Roy F. Buck, 80, died Wednesday evening at the Burns convalescent home in 
Ionia, where he had been a patient since he fell and broke his hip some time 
ago.  

A lifelong resident of Ionia county, he had resided in the Lyons area about 60 
years and was employed by the Consumer Power Co., and was an operator at the 
Lyons power plant for a number of years before his retirement.  He was born 
June 8, 1876 and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Buck.

Preceded in death by his wife, Nellie, he is survived by one son, Harland 
Buck, of Dayton, Ohio and one grandson, James Buck, also of Dayton.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
