Ionia Standard, Fri., June 5, 1885

Miss Annie Buckley, 24 years old, died very suddenly Monday morning, June 1st.  
Was apparently well till within 12 hours of death.  She was engaged to be 
married July 4th.  The funeral was at one o'clock, Wednesday, at the Methodist 
church, Palo.  Services conducted by Rev. Wm. R. Warner.  Text, Luke 12:37 -
 "Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord, when he cometh, shall find 
watching."  The was a large attendance of friends and relatives.
