Portland Review - Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001

Florence E. Buckley, 93, of Portland passed away Sunday, Oct. 7.

She was born in Portland Feb. 17, 1908 the daughter of Chester and Pearl 
(Baldwin) Norwood. Mrs. Buckley was a member of the First Congregational Church 
of Portland and the Guild. She loved her flowers and bowling, having bowled up 
until she was 92. Florence was a friend and grandma to everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Wade Buckley; son, Robert 
Buckley; brother, Richard; sister, Reatha.

Surviving are her children, Marilyn Shaw of Portland, Vivian (Kenneth) Wheeler 
of Eagle, Betty (Richard) Robinson of Portland and Patsy Buckley of Portland; 
18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Marilyn V. Danielson, Pastor, Oct. 10, at 
the First Congregational Church of Portland. Interment followed at Portland 
Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 
Portland.

Contributions to the First Congregational Church would be appreciated.
