The Carson City Gazette, Thursday, December 14, 1917
Cornelius E. Buckley was found dead in bed Sunday morning, at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. Lewis Scott, north of Butternut, being 64 years of age.  He was 
a well known citizen of Bloomer township, having served as a member of the 
Board of Review for several years.  Funeral services were held Wednesday and 
his remains were laid to rest in the Woodward Lake cemetery.
