Portland Observer, 4 Mar 1926

The death of Rev. George A. Buell, well known former Portland pastor, occurred 
at his home in Kalamazoo, Sunday evening, following several years of poor 
health which was brought on by a stroke of paralysis.  About a quarter of a 
century ago Rev. Buell was pastor of the M.E. church and since leaving here had 
kept up his acquaintance through his numerous visits to his daughter, Mrs. Will 
McClelland, who was called to Kalamazoo last Friday, being with her father when 
death came.

Besides the widow two other daughters survive.  They are Mrs. Alice Renwick and 
Mrs. John Doelle.
