Mrs. Nellie Buffum, 75, of Cowlesville, New York, died at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Blanche Tasker, of Palo Friday at 1 a.m.  Mrs. Buffum was the 
wife of the late Rev. Ira Buffum, pastor of the Palo Baptist church for several 
years.

Rev. Buffum’s last charge in Michigan was at Palo, and when the family left 
there 25 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Buffum returned to their  home at Cowlesville, 
where Mrs. Buffum had spent many years of her life.  Rev. Buffum was pastor of 
the Baptist church there for 12 years.  Mrs. Buffum was active in church work 
and as a WCTU member.

Mrs. Buffum is survived by Mrs. Tasker and another daughter, Mrs. Ethel 
Willard, of Beriend, New York, and 12 grandchildren.

The remains will be taken to Cowlesville, where funeral services will be held 
at the Baptist church.  Mrs. Tasker will accompany the body.
