Portland Review, 7 Jun 1993

Rose Mary Bugbee, 51, of Portland died May 29, 1993, in Portland.  She was born 
in Danby Township on March 2, 1942, the daughter of Peter and Margaret (Meyers) 
Pohl.  She as a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond; two daughters, Keri (Kevin) Longhurst of 
Grand Rapids and Keli (Butch) Ward of Portland; four sons, Rod Bugbee of 
Lansing, Jeff (Mary) Bugbee of Portland, Tim Bugbee of Portland, and Gary 
(Jody) Bugbee of Harrisville; 10 grandchildren; mother, Margaret Pohl of 
Portland; three brothers, Edward Pohl of Portland, Larry Pohl of Portland, and 
Thomas Pohl of Woodland; and one sister, Mary Ann Eldridge of Lake Odessa.

The Rosary was recited May 31.  Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated 
June 1 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Portland, with Rev. Larry King 
officiating.  Casket bearers were Joseph Pohl, David Courtney, William Erridge 
Jr., Gary Pohl, Richard Pohl, and Roger Trierweiler.  Interment in Portland 
Cemetery.
