Excerpts from Ionia Online Obituary

                    BILLIE DELPHINE BUGBEE

Died Wednesday, August 2022-age 83 at home.
Daughter of William and Bernice Smith.
When young she worked at a daycare for Migrant children, later opening a daycare 
in her home, being a young widow, raising her four daughters alone.Taking care 
of others was her passion.
Member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are her daughters;Tracy Eldrich of Greenville, Melissa (Michael) Cook 
of Ionia, Kelly (Mark) Willette of Clarksville, Kathy (Pete) TenHaad of 
Caledonia,Grandchildren; Katrina, Levi, T.J., Eric, Kristine, Ashley, Austin, 
Matthew, Gretchen, Joseph & Luke.Siblings: Dawn Thayer, Ron (Linden) Smith, 
Johna (Joe) Odetta, Brad Prescott. Special friends:Judy Brandt,Freeda Bergeven, 
Kim Stalter & Trudi Russell.
Preceded in death by her parents, Husband Dave E.Bugbee, sister Kay Adams & 
grandson Lance Eldred. Special friends Joyce King & Karen Halladay.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 26 at 11:00 am with Pastor Kevin 
Kinsinger officiating.
Interment in Kittle Cemetery at 3 pm.
Visitation one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to Devos Children's Hospital or the Leukemia 
Foundation.
