Ionia Sentinel Standard, 23 Jun 1969

Harry Lee Bull, 80, of 254 East Main died Sunday at the Ionia County Memorial
hospital.  He was born March 27, 1889 the son of Lee and Lena Johnson Bull.  He
was a member of the First Presbyterian church, life member of Loyalty lodge 488
F & AM of Detroit, life member of Pontiac Commandery 2 and former member of
Detroit police department from 1912 until 1919.

He later worked for Warden Harry Jackson at the Jackson State prison and
transferred to Michigan Reformatory at Ionia as night captain.  He joined the
General Motors police department at Pontiac from 1942 until 1947.

Surviving is his wife Alice Gertrude Bull.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Myers funeral home.  Rev. Robert
McComb will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park cemetery.  Masonic
service will be at the funeral home Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
