Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Feb 1956

Mrs. Lena J. Bull, 88, of 254 East Main street, died Wednesday evening at 10
p.m. at her home.  She was born Frillesas Hollands, Sweden May 16, 1867, the
daughter of John Berndt and E. Manwelson Johnson.  She came to America at the
age of seven.  In 1887 Mrs. Bull was married to Lee Bull who died in 1922.

Survivors  are a son Harry L. Bull of Ionia and four sisters, Mrs. Marie
Nicholson of New York, Mrs. Celia Seaman of Big Rapids, Mrs. Clara Rose of
Ionia, and Mrs. Emily Carter of Muir.

Private funeral services will be conducted from the Stone-Kauffman funeral home
Saturday at 2:30 p.m.  Temporary entombment will be at Highland Park mausoleum.
 Friends may call at the funeral home 7 until 9 p.m. Friday.
