Bernice M. Bulling, 80, of Lake Odessa, died Monday, December 12, 1994 at 
Pennock Hospital, in Hastings.  She was born June 14, 1914 in Odessa Township, 
the daughter of Leon and Mabel (Cook) Williams.  She graduated from Lake 
Odessa High School, Western State Teachers College, in Kalamazoo, and attended 
Butterworth Nurses Training, in Grand Rapids.  She married Keith Bulling 
October 12, 1935 in Odessa Township.

Mrs. Bulling lived and farmed in the Lake Odessa area all her life.  She was a 
member of the Rural Mothers Study Club and attended Lakewood United Methodist 
Church.

She is survived by four daughters, Joan (Thomas) Hanson, of Woodland, Susan 
(Douglas) Lake, of Lake Odessa, Marjorie (Wayne) Montgomery, of Charlotte, 
Barbara (Denny) Frost, of Lake Odessa; one son, William (Helen) Bulling of 
Lake Odessa; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Iva Reed, 
of Alma, Edith Bippley, of Hastings; and one sister-in-law, Ruby Williams, of 
Lake Odessa.  She was preceded in death by her husband Keith on July 31, 1993; 
two sisters, Myrtle Childs and Mildred Ingall and two brothers, Claude 
Williams and Gerald Williams.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral 
chapel.  Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Koops Funeral 
Chapel, in Lake Odessa.  The Rev. Ward Pierce and Rev. Don Mathis will 
officiate.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa.  Memorials can 
be made to the Lake Odessa Library Building Fund.
