Royal Peake and wife were in Mulliken Tuesday to attend the funeral of Mrs. 
Peake’s mother, Mrs. Cornelia Bump, who died last Sunday morning at the age of 
87 years.  Deceased was an old resident of Danby and highly respected.

Danby, Feb. 9 – Mrs. Frederick Bump, an old resident of this neighborhood, died 
on Sunday morning, at ripe age of 97.  She was respected and beloved by all who 
knew her.  She is survived by two children: Bert, with whom she had made her 
home for several years, and Mrs. Peake of Portland.
