Mrs. Gladys M. Bunce, 42, of 416 South Front street, Belding, died Wednesday 
night in Belding city hospital after six weeks illness.  Mrs. Bunce was born in 
Belding, October 23, 1914, the daughter of Milton and Mabel Benedict and had 
lived all her life there.  

She was employed at the Belding Savings and Loan, was a member of the Royal 
Neighbors, president of the Methodist Guild and an official board member of 
that church.

Surviving are her husband Harold; a daughter May 13, two sons, Allen 16 and 
Johnny 6; her mother, Mrs. Benedict, two sisters, Mrs. Carl Harris of Belding 
and Mrs. Joe Jesko of Ionia; and a brother, Miles M. Benedict of Belding.

Funeral services are to be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Hoffman funeral home 
with the Rev. Luther Brokaw officiating.  Burial will be at River Ridge 
cemetery.
