Ionia Sentinel, January 4, 1947

Kate Burch died at the home of her son, John Currigan in Lyons Friday about 
4:30 p.m.

She was born in Ionia County March 12, 1864, and has lived nearly all her life 
in Lyons.  She is a member of the Lyons Baptist church, and Women’s Relief 
Corps.

She is survived by a son, John, of Lyons; a grandson, John Jr., a 
granddaughter, Mrs. Vern Gallup, and one great-grandson, Michael Currigan.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. form the Lyons Baptist church 
with the Rev. Faulkner Mercer officiating.  Interment will be at the Lyons 
cemetery.
