The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, August 9, 1935

Mrs. Hazel Burchard, 52, of Lansing, died at a private hospital in Lansing 
Thursday evening at 7:30 following a long illness.  She was born in Ionia, the 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Storey, and lived here as a girl and attended 
the Ionia schools.  She has lived for a number of years in Lansing.

Surviving are her husband, Glenn Burchard, of Lansing; her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. J. D. Storey, East Main street; one brother, William Storey, of Knox, 
Ind.: three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Fillictt and Mrs. Glenn Boardman, of Detroit, 
and Mrs. Emery Danner, of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the home of 
her sister, Mrs. Emery Danner, 325 East Main street.  Interment will be at 
Highland Park cemetery.
