Ionia Sentinel Standard, 15 Apr 1952

Christian Science Memorial services for Marion Place Mann Burd of Pittsburgh,
Pa., April 8, were conducted Saturday, April 12, at 2 p.m.  Claude Dumont past
reader for the Christian Science society, read the services at the chapel and at
the committal services at Highland Park cemetery.  Bearers were Harvey Jackson,
Victor Hedstrom, Ralph Lee, Sr., Karl Stearns, Sr., Stewart LaDue and Karl
Stearns, Jr.

Attending the services were J.M. Burd, husband of the deceased; Miss Florence
Place, sister, Mrs. William D. LaPlace, daughter, and Mrs. Henry L. Hunker,
granddaughter, all of Pittsburgh, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Stearns and son of
Midland; Mr. and Mrs. Stalin Shannon of Belding; Mrs. Frieda Stearns, Mr. and
Mrs. Ralph Lee, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Hedstrom,
and Mrs. and Mrs. Stewart LaDue of Ionia.
