Lee F. Burdick 64, Died Unexpectedly

Lee F. Burdick, 64, of Hickory Corners, who was serving his second term as Barry 
county drain commissioner, passed away unexpectedly at his home Sunday.

He was a farmer and was one of the first contingent to volunteer from Hastings 
to serve in World War I and was a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, the former Marie Estep of Lake Odessa, two sons, Robert 
of Golden, Colo, and Richard of Hickory Corners and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Leonard funeral home at 
Hastings.
