The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, January 18, 1926
Mrs. Effie L. Burdick passed away early Sunday morning at the residence, 523 
West Maple street, at Lansing.  Mrs. Burdick was the youngest daughter of Mr. 
and Mrs. Angus McDiarmid, who lived for many years near Clarksville.  Mrs. 
Burdick is survived by one son; and five brothers, H. W. McDiarmid, of 
Lansing; Warren McDiarmid, of Detroit; Lester McDiarmid, of Marshall; Rev. 
Leroy McDiarmid, of Toledo, Ill., and Ralph McDiarmid, of Clarksville.  She is 
also survived by one sister, Mrs. Clarence Deal, who lives in Montana.  The 
funeral will be held from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  
Burial will take place in the Grand Ledge cemetery.
