             Karen Morton Burdick

Died November 23, 2023-age 76 of Portland.
Born March 5, 1947 in Niagara Falls, New York, daughter of John & Marie 
(Franke)Morton.
Married Patrick T. Burdick November 14, 1970 in Lewiston, New York.
Karen received her BS in  Public Health & worked for the State of New York as a 
Sanitarian for awhile before having children.
A member of St.Joseph's Parish in Pewamo.
Karen was an advanced knitter & Seamstress.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Patrick T. Burdick of Portland, Children: 
Catherine Burdick(Alvaro Busto) of Santiago, Chile & Matthew Burdick of 
Waukesha,WIS., Brothers; John (Bobbi) Morton of New Jersey & James (Barbara) 
Morton of Atlanta,Georgia, Sisters; Mary Schneider of St.Augustine, Florida & 
Amy Morton of Lockport, New York.
Preceded in death by her parents, son Mark Burdick in 1997 & brother Michael 
Morton.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St.Joseph's Catholic Church in Pewamo, 
Monday, Dec. 4, at 10:30 AM.with Father Darrel Kempf presiding.
Visitation will be at the church 1 hour prior to services.
Rite of Committal will be in St.Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha, Wisc. on Tuesday, 
Dec.5th, at 1:00 P.M.
