THE IONIA SENTINEL, MICH.; January 19, 1888: "CITY AND COUNTRY. - Levi F.
Burdick died at his home in Ionia township on Sunday, aged 74. His funeral was
from the Union church on North Plains, on Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock.
Deceased was one of the pioneers of Ionia township."
