Lyons Herald, 13 May 1920

Hattie L. Caswell was born February 13th, 1870, in Lapeer county, Michigan, and 
departed this life May 3rd, 1920, at the age of 50 years, 2 months and 20 days.

She was united in marriage to Cyrus Burger March 16th, 1893.  She leaves to mourn 
their loss her mother, Mrs. Thomas Hudson of Sebewa; one sister, Mrs. Charles 
Buttermore of Green Oak, Michigan; two brothers, Wm. Caswell of Lake Odessa and 
Claude of Ionia, besides a large circle of friends.  She was always of a cheerful 
disposition, a kind and loving wife; and was loved by all who knew her.
