Flossie Burger, 94, of 324 Elm Street, Portland, died December 21, at her 
home.  She was born on January 16, 1893, in Cass City, the daughter of William 
and Jane (Patterson) Somerville.  She married Francis Burger, who preceded her 
in death in 1980.  She was a long-time Office Manager for the City of Portland, 
and was a member of the Rebecca Lodge since 1913.

She is survived by one daughter, Marguerite Baker, of Ionia; two grandchildren 
and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at the Neller Funeral Home in 
Portland.  The Rev. Stanley Finkbeiner will be officiating.  Burial will be in 
the Portland Cemetery.  Pallbearers for the burial will be William, Steve, 
Jeffery and Bert Baker, Gilbert Fox and Terry Sandborn.  The family will 
receive guests at the funeral home today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
