Donald M. Burger, 90, went to be with his Lord, on Sept. 26, 1998.  Mr. Burger
was born to Lloyd and Bertha (Mills) Burger in Lyons on Dec. 23, 1907.  He
graduated from Lyons School.  He married Grace Croel on Sept. 18, 1931.  She
survives.  They celebrated 67 years of marriage on Sept. 18, 1998.

Mr. Burger was farmer and carpenter for many years.  He also served in the Muir
Village council as President Pro-Tem.  He was a life-time member of the Lyons
Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Donna and sister Marie
Babcock.  He is survived by three grandsons, Tom (Colette) Cavric, Tim and Terry
Cavric; and nephew Charles Babcock.  Cremation has taken place with burial in
the Lyons cemetery.  He will be missed by Judy Lemke, Ruth Anderson and Judy
Waterman.  Anyone wishing can give to their favorite charity in memory of Mr.
Burger.  Arrangements by Hull Memorial, Muir.
