Lawrence Burger, 72, formerly of Portland, died in Lansing Friday after a six
weeks’ illness.  He had lived in Portland the greater part of his life.  Funeral
services were held in St. Mary’s church, Lansing, Monday and burial was made in
Portland cemetery.  Mr. Burger leaves his widow and daughter, Mrs. Edmond
Purcell, of Lansing; two brothers, Frank, and John Burger and a sister, Mrs.
George Barnes, all of Portland.
