Sceyrel Burger, the oldest living pioneer of Orange, died at 6 o'clock Mon. a.m., at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Andrew Woodworth, this city, at the ripe age of 87 years. He was the second oldest of a family of five children all but one having crossed the dark river before him, Truman Burger of this city being the only one no living. Sceyrel Burger came to Michigan from New York when but a young man, and located on the farm in Orange, which was his home the remainder of his life. He leaves a wife, one daughter, Mrs. Andrew Woodworth, two grand-daughters, Mrs. Bert Youngs of Easton and Mrs. Floyd Weiers of this city, to mourn his loss.
