Ionia County News -  Thursday, March 27, 1947

Mrs. Forest Burger died Friday morning, March 21, at her home on Ionia Route 
1. She had been ill for several months. Born in Lansing, September 25, 1907, 
she was 49 years old.

She is survived by her husband, five daughters, Leota, Jean, Doris, Caroline 
and Dixie, and one son, Lloyd; her father, Sidney Moon, Lansing; three 
sisters, Mrs. Norman Becklen, Okemos, Mrs. Charles Fockler, Ovid, and Mrs. 
P. Vickers, Detroit, and a brother, Richard Moon, of Ionia.

Funeral service was held Monday afternoon and burial was in Balcom cemetery. 
Rev. A.J. Westmaas officiated and pall bearers were Gaylord, Floyd and 
Donald Burger and Richard Moon.
