Born June 30, 1939 in Portland. Daughter of Earl and Mabel (Goodwin) Teachout. June made sure everyone was well fed, among her specialties were pies, cookies, butterhorn rolls, and german chocolate cake & her famous biscuits and gravy. She loved watching her children & grandchildren grow. She bowled in the league "Wagon Wheel" for many years. She worked at Johnny's Food Market in Vermontville, Carl's Supermarket in Nashville, also at Spartan Stadium, making friends along the way. Married L.D. Burger on January 5, 1956 & celebrated 65 years of marriage. Preceded in death by her parents Earl & Mabel, brothers, Robert, David, and Richard Teachout;; sister Margaret (Richard) Clements; son-in-law, Mike Dickinson; & former son-in-law, Steve Duffey. Survived by husband L.D. Burger; children, Sue (Claude) Hine, Steven Burger, Jayne friend Scott Cook) Dickinson, and Jeffrey Burger; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
