Mark W. Burgess, 87, of 320 Church, Portland, died Saturday.  He was found dead
at his home Sunday evening by a nephew who made frequent calls at his home. 
Deputy medical examiner Dr. Martin Kozachik of Portland, ruled death due to a
heart attack.

He moved to Portland from Detroit in 1949 when he retired as a factory foreman.
 His wife Philomena died in 1961 and his only survivors are nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic church in
Portland.  Rev. Fr. Joseph Malewitz will officiate and interment will be at
Portland cemetery.  Rosary will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Neller funeral home in
Portland.
