Irvie Junior Burgess, 59, of Belding, died unexpectedly Thursday morning, April
18, 2013, at home.  Irvie was born on Dec. 31, 1953, in Grand Rapids, the son of
Irvie and Helen (Monroe) Burgess.  He graduated from Belding High School Adult
Education in 1990.  He enjoyed shuffleboard, video games, word search puzzles
and fishing.  Irvie married Rebecca Kay Crankshaw in Belding on Nov. 20, 1984.

He is loved and survived by his wife, Rebecca; and their children, Christine
Burgess and Irvie George Burgess all of Belding; siblings, Richard (Lynn)
Burgess of Calif., Gordon (Colleen) Burgess of Greenville and Shirley Burgess of
Battle Creek.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and twin sisters Carol
and Carolyn.

In keeping with Irvie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Memorial services
will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 22, at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home,
Belding, with Pastor Daryl Britton of Flat River Ministries officiating. 
Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Memorial contributions may be
given to the family.
