Mrs. Elizabeth Burhans, 72, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Glenn 
Lindley, Saturday morning following a long illness.  Funeral services were 
held from the home Monday afternoon and burial was made in Portland cemetery.

Mrs. Burhans was the widow of Frank N. Burhans, who passed away two years 
ago.  Her maiden name was Elizabeth Prentice and she was born in Tecumseh 72 
years ago.

She is survived by four children and one brother.  They are Mrs. Glenn Lindley 
and Fred Burhans, of Portland; Mrs. Charley Clark of Sylvainia, Ohio; Mrs. 
Harold Boice, of Britton, Mich., and William Prentice, of Portland.
