The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, September 28, 1938
Word was received by relatives of the death of Vivian Burke, 10-year-old 
daughter of Major and Mrs. William H. Burke, of Owosso, who died Wednesday 
morning, September 28, at 2 o’clock at her home following an illness of 
several years.  Mr. and Mrs. Burke were former Ionians living here about nine 
years ago.  Mr. Burke was employed by the Ypsilanti Reed Furniture company.

Surviving beside the parents are two brothers, William H. Burke, Jr., and Fred 
Burke. Mrs. Terrance P. Quinn and Mrs. C. M. Robinson of Ionia are aunts of 
the deceased.

Funeral services have not been arranged.
