Grace E. Burke, 80, passed away Sun., Nov. 10, 2002, in Ionia.  She was born 
March 31, 1922 in New Haven, the daughter of Milton and Nora (Curtis) Graham.  
Mrs. Burke was a 1940 graduate of Ionia High School and was an avid flower 
grower.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Burke in 1973; daughter, Norma 
Campbell in 1988; brothers, Louis Graham and George Moorman; and sister, Alice 
Calkins.

Surviving are her son, Dewey (Janice) Burke; grandchildren, Deana Campbell, 
Thomas Campbell, Daniel Patterson, Tami Lawless, Jason (Carrie) Burke and Ryan 
Burke; great-grandchildren, Christina Ockert, Cody Pierson, Danielle Hughs, 
Kristin Lawless, Matt Spoelstra, and Ethan and Madelynn Burke; three brothers, 
William Graham, Milton Graham, and Gaylord Dow; three sisters, Mary Rice, 
Martha Sorensen and Ellen Sanger.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Cook Funeral Home-
Myers Memorial Chapel, 148 East Main St., Ionia, with Rev. Carol Meeder, Pastor 
of First Christian Church officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2 
p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s 
choice in memory of Grace E. Burke.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Cook 
Funeral Home, Ionia.
