                             CATHERINE M. BURKE

HUBBARDSTON - Catherine M. Burke, 92, of Hubbardston, died Tuesday, July 
14,1967, at Ionia County Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 5, 1895, in Gratiot County, the daughter of Patrick and 
Margaret (Fahey) Rogers. She attended St.Mary's Academy in Carson City and Mount 
Pleasant Teachers' College (now Central Michigan University.)

She was married to John Burke in 1916. He preceded her in death in 1962. She was 
also preceded in death by two brothers and sisters.

Survivors include a niece, Joan McKenna of Okemos, and a nephew, Roger Shively 
of Hubbardston; and one sister, Margaret Rogers of Lansing.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 17,a t 10 a.m. from the St.John the 
Baptist catholic Church, with the Rev.William Reitz officiating. Burial will 
follow in the church cemetery.

A rosary will be offered Thursday at 7:30 p.m. from the Schnepp Funeral Home in 
Carson City. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 2-4 an 7-9 pm.
