Lyons Herald, 15 Jul 1909

Seymour S. Burling, another of our oldest citizens, died Sunday night, July 11, 
aged about 70 years.  The funeral took place from the house Tuesday afternoon, 
Rev. J.W. Will officiating.  Interment in the Muir cemetery. Besides a widow, 
three sons, W.A. Burling and Frank Burling of Muir, David Burling of California, 
and one daughter, Mrs. W. K. Wilson, of Grand Rapids, survive him.
