She was born June 21, 1872, in Muir the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Flowers. She lived in Muir until the flour mill owned there by her husband burned in 1917. They moved to Lake Odessa. Mr. Burling died a number of years ago. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jones; and one granddaughter, another daughter died in Muir at the age of nine years. The body arrived in Grand Rapids Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Shaw-Rivett funeral home. Interment will be in Muir cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Jones are driving through.
