The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, November 6, 1980
Leon R. Burns, 78, 759 E. Main St., died Monday at home.  Funeral services 
were Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Leddick Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Dow 
of the First Christian Church officiating.  Organist was Josephine Barna.  
Burial was in Balcom Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harold Nelson, Francis Cronk Sr., Wayne Smith, Gordon Burns, 
Joseph Dinehart and Dale Miers.

A luncheon from family and friends was given after services at the home of his 
son, Jerry Marcussen.
