Clifton Seymour Burns, 67, died Tuesday morning, Sept 1, at his home at Woodard 
Lake.  He was born July 20, 1886, in Detroit.  He had lived in this county for 
some time.  He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge in Mt. Clemens.

Surviving are the wife, Emma; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Keeler, of Traverse City; 
two sons, Woodrow of Woodard lake and Floyd of Roseville; 4 grandchildren; 
three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Roy H. Rood of Florida.  A son, 
Clifton, preceded him in death.

The body reposes at Myers funeral home.  Friday at 9 a.m. it will be taken to 
the Holy Cross church in Belding where services will be conducted at 10 a.m.  
The Rev. Paul Kencthurt will officiate.  Burial will be in Woodmer cemetery in 
Detroit.
